Regular giving
The money we raise from regular direct debits is the only guaranteed income we receive. Please consider making a monthly donation to CASK Research.

Progress in CASK-related disorders research, both across the UK and internationally, has only been possible because of the commitment and determination of affected families.
Roughly 70% of our funding is driven by community fundraising — families living with CASK alongside their wider circles of friends, colleagues and supporters, all contributing in whatever ways they can to sustain momentum. Because CASK conditions are extremely rare and still not widely recognised, the responsibility to raise awareness and funding often falls to those most directly impacted. But if we don't do it, who will?

If you are on social media, the easiest way to raise money for CASK is to set up a Facebook fundraiser. Every year we receive hundreds of pounds from this easy, straightforward fundraiser. Open Facebook, start a new post, scroll along the top options (Music, Tag/Collaborate, etc.) until you can click "Fundraiser", select CASK Research Foundation, and write your heartfelt post.
Easyfundraising offers a simple way to raise money without any extra cost. Sign up, select your chosen CASK charity, and shop online through the Easyfundraising website or app — a small donation is automatically made by the retailer each time you make a purchase. Over 7,000 participating brands; the app notifies you when a website you are browsing participates.

There are lots of ways to raise money for CASK. A cake sale at school or work, quiz nights, bingo nights, or non-uniform days at school are all great ways to raise money and spread awareness.

We have partnered with Global Adventure Challenges, which organises adventure-based fundraising events. Adventures range from mountain trekking and long-distance cycle rides to sledding across the Arctic pulled by huskies. Take part in UK events like the Three Peaks Challenge or international trips such as climbing Kilimanjaro or trekking the Great Wall of China.

Many of our supporters do a sponsored event such as a marathon or swim — but anything is possible. We've had a gran do a wing walk for CASK and our ambassador Joanne push her daughter Alice around the London Marathon. Please get in touch if you decide to fundraise for us and we'll send you a free T-shirt.

Supporting CASK Research involves both fundraising and raising awareness. Our year-round campaigns provide opportunities to do both — whether it's dedicating a dragonfly to a loved one, participating in CASK Awareness Month in July, or running a Facebook fundraiser, every little bit helps.

Some of our most valuable support has come through personal connections. Many organisations offer schemes that make giving simple and impactful — matched funding (where donations are doubled), paid volunteer days, or team fundraising challenges. It's always worth asking — speak to your friends, family and wider network to see if their employer offers any of these opportunities.
With no employees, we are always in need of volunteers to help us keep the charity moving and growing. Please get in touch if you would like to join our team.
