UK CASK meet up 2023!

In early September eight families affected by CASK disorders convened at Camp Mohawk near Reading. The occasion brought together parents and children in a welcoming environment during warm, pleasant weather.

Activities suited to different age groups. Children with CASK disorders and their siblings had access to soft play facilities and outdoor entertainment options. Meanwhile, parents reconnected with established friendships while also meeting other families facing similar circumstances. The families made the most of the incredible grounds and cool indoor spaces — with particular excitement surrounding a nine-month-old newest member of the community.

CASK Research Foundation is passionate about helping families living with CASK disorders, and, although science is vital, peer support is just as important — if not more so — for day-to-day living.
