The CASK living advent trail
Friday, 8 September 2023
A festive fundraising initiative — the Living Advent Trail — for the upcoming Christmas season.
The concept: a community decorates 24 windows for advent, with each window unveiled daily leading up to Christmas. This inclusive event aims to raise awareness about CASK gene disorders while bringing joy to people of all abilities.
Our inaugural event, Sparkles4Sarah, demonstrated the potential of this approach by generating significant community engagement and awareness. We're sharing the initiative with supporters interested in organising their own trails.
If you live in a friendly community and want to create a simple, awareness-raising event, we've prepared straightforward instructions. For details see our Raising Awareness page.
