Monday, 17 March 2025
CASK Research has strengthened its partnership with The University of Bristol through a £40,000 gift to advance research into CASK-related disorders.
Under Dr Sam Amin's leadership: development and maintenance of a clinical CASK patient database; continued pursuit of clinical research grants.
Under Professor Hodge's direction: expansion of CASK modelling to deepen understanding and establish drug screening capabilities; strengthened collaboration with GW4 universities to expand CASK research.
The partnership aims to enhance understanding of CASK disorders, establish a dedicated centre of expertise, facilitate international collaboration, and increase awareness of CASK research across the UK, Europe, and globally.
Bristol ranks among the world's top 100 universities. GW4 is a network of four research-intensive institutions — Bath, Bristol, Exeter and Cardiff — with combined annual research income exceeding £465 million.
